Envirocann Material Review
Input manufacturers can submit materials for verification of compliance to both EnvirOganic and EnviroClean certification programs. Approved Input Material certification requires complete ingredient disclosure for compliance review. Onsite inspections of manufacturing facilities may be required. Product testing for pesticides and plant growth regulators may be conducted at inspections and in the marketplace. EnviroClean and EnvirOganic approved input materials can be marketed using the corresponding logos on final products. EnvirOganic Certification reflects that ingredients are allowed for use in EnvirOganic production.
Envirocann refers to OMRI, CDFA Organic Input Materials and WSDA Organic Input Materials to determine a product’s compliance to EnvirOganic production systems. When these agencies have not reviewed the product, Envirocann may conduct an independent review, which requires full disclosure of 100% of the ingredients in the material.
