The Envirocann & EnvirOganic Manufacturing Certification is geared to those responsible for strict compliance in a laboratory setting, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), environmental awareness, using only licensed lab tested cannabis as process material, and a commitment to social justice.

The manufacturing certification scope applies to the processing of cannabis flowers, extracts, infusions, edibles and salves. Manufacturers can apply for EnvirOganic and Envirocann levels of certification. EnvirOganic certification reflects that organic materials, ingredients, and management practices have been used in the cultivation of source material and that no prohibited materials have been used in the processing of EnvirOganic certified cannabis products.

Similar to the Farm & Nursery Certification scope, manufacturers are required to complete multiple site visits, including annual inspections and must meet all standards required to achieve or maintain the Envirocann / EnvirOganic Certification. Random testing will be conducted at inspections and in the marketplace. Envirocann and EnvirOganic certified manufacturers can use the appropriate Envirocann logos on final products. This scope of certification ensures best management practices are applied throughout the cannabis supply chain.
