In 2016, Ian launched Envirocann to further his commitment of providing tools,
education, and services to the cannabis & hemp market. Ian took over as Envirocann’s
CEO in 2019 and is committed to making the Envirocann and EnvirOganic logos the
‘gold standard’ for legal cannabis and boutique agriculture on a global scale. Ian is also
the co-founder and managing partner of Same Team Consulting, extending his passion
for clean and sustainably grown consumer goods into targeted sectors like cannabis,
hemp, and boutique agriculture. Ian’s success and leadership skills stem from his role
as co-founder and as Vice President at SC Laboratories (est. 2010), one of the nation’s
first and largest ISO 17025-accredited cannabis lab testing facilities. SC Laboratories’
(SCL) focus is on Quality Assurance and Quality Control in the cannabis & hemp
industries. SCL has over 100 employees, operates in multiple states, and is seen as
one of the premier licensed and accredited laboratories in cannabis. Ian remains a
partner at SCL. Expanding in new fields beyond cannabis and hemp, Ian also maintains
a CEO role at 1212 Gateway and TBL Cosmetics while diversifying his many other
portfolios.
